I camp in a tent at Burning Man under a large covered shade structure. There are about 60 members in our group and we are camped in a grid. When people try to find us it can be difficult. One of our members has been producing laser cut tent signs for each of us (all 60!). These have magnets on the back of them and stick to the EMT pipe supporting our shade tarps. My sister and I have gone together for the last few years. She was Bebe and I am Blaze.
Last year (2023), my son was able to come, but his decision was late and there was no sign for him. My campmate was kind enough to send his file for last year’s sign. The file needed a little bit of tweaking to work on our Universal Laser cutter. It also didn’t include the proper font for my son’s name (Tim). With not too much effort, I was able to cut this sign as a reminder of the time we spent together there.
