I made this coaster as a demonstration in my second week in 140 class. I was unhappy with job I did . The transfer paper I used did not go to the edge. I thought it would be okay because it would blend with the clouds. Not so. I am printing a permanent vinyl “frame” to see if I can make it better.

UPDATE
Better with HTV frame. Interesting, the transfer tape pulled up an impression of the sublimation. It looked a little like a film.

The “residue from this project intrigued me. First the “shadow” left behind on the sublimation paper after I was done with it. I can’t throw it away until I know if I can create something artistic with it. Then there was the impression left on the vinyl heat transfer tape, almost film-like. I will probably toss both of them sooner or later.
